"date" can take something like "tomorrow at 5pm" and convert it into an actual timestamp, a usable date that can be passed to an application's settings and used in production environments.
Various spelling and date expressions are supported, while the library also leaves a way to add custom date patterns as well.
The "date" library works with both client-side (browsers) and server-side (Node.js) environments.
What is new in this release:
- Updates the distributions
- Fixed rMonths reg exp
- Unparsable strings return the current date instead of tomorrow. Better prediction if parsed date is close to now (same minute).
- Parsing of str's like 2 minutes ago working now
- Capturing the time unit minutes..months
- Correctly parses dates like "1st of March"
- Parsing of "1st of march" works now
- Extends at hour to support 24 hour clock and add support for hour.minute format
Requirements:
- JavaScript enabled on client side
- Node.js for server-side environments
