BIC Calendar is for cases when you want to show an event calendar on the Web, without wanting to use a server-side programming language like PHP, Ruby or Python.
BIC Calendar relies solely on JavaScript to assemble the calendar and insert events, using a local JSON file or a JavaScript array to populate the calendar with appointments or events.
This is a very versatile system, allowing developers to use pre-configured calendar setups or to edit and load new events at runtime.
For each event displayed in the calendar, clicking it will reveal the event's details inside a tooltip.
HTML code can be shown inside the tooltip, so besides basic raw text, complex images and rich formatted texts can be shown to improve the calendar UI.
A demo and usage instructions included with the BIC Calendar package.
