What is new in this release:

• Performs smarter searches: The intelligent Looks Like Search lets you quickly find content phone numbers, email addresses, Social Security numbers--via an alphanumeric pattern rather than exact text. Use multiple-string searches to refine your search criteria and pinpoint exactly what you're looking for within a searchable PDF file.
• View more content directly within PDFs: See more of your PDF files without ever leaving Nuance PDF Reader. Get better visibility into graphics by viewing each of the multiple layers created by programs like AutoCAD and Microsoft Visio. Or view rich media files, like Microsoft Silverlight, directly within a PDF.
• Enhanced: Collaborate using PDF annotation: Nuance PDF Reader provides a rich set of annotation tools, letting you add comments and highlight, cross-out, or underline text for more effective collaboration. You can even create a condensed summary of all comments that have been added to a PDF document to see who added which comment and when.
• Enhanced Security: Nuance PDF Reader also addresses a troubling PDF security issue found within some readers by giving users the option to prevent JavaScript installation. Preventing JavaScript installation creates a safer PDF environment for the end user and adds an additional safety net for IT professionals looking to safeguard their organizations. Hackers have used the PDF JavaScript vulnerability to gain control of a user's computer, exposing users to system attacks and the transfer of personal information simply by viewing infected PDF files. If needed, you now have the capability to turn JavaScript on easily during the installation process. What's more, you can store the digital ID certificates of your partners and colleagues in Nuance PDF Reader and use them to verify digitally signed documents.
