MenuetOS is an open source operating system that supports 32-bit and 64-bit architectures and it is written entirely in the assembly programming language, aiming to be faster, smaller and less resource hungry.
MenuetOS features pre-emptive multitasking with multiprocessor, multithreading, ring-3 protection, and 1000hz scheduler, responsive graphical user interface that supports resolutions up to 1920x1080 with 16 million colours, free-form, skinnable and transparent application windows, full drag&drop support, and SMP multiprocessor support.
MenuetOS also includes an IDE (Integrated Development Environment), USB 2.0 support for storage devices, printers, webcams, TV/Radio cards, USB 1.1 support for keyboard and mouse, TCP/IP stack with Ethernet and Loopback drivers, and much more.
