CMSs, blogs and e-commerce platforms usually revolve around the idea of widgets, modules, placement, positions, blocks, nodes, etc..
So its very hard sometimes to provide a quick way of inserting some silly small text or just an image somewhere on the site.
For this WordPress already has its HTML widget, but there's no such equivalent in PrestaShop.
Well, until you stumble upon contentBox, a simple PrestaShop module that does exactly what the HTML widget does in WordPress and provides a quick way of adding content anywhere on the site.
contentBox is mainly made up of two screens. A screen where you add and style your HTML content. And a secondary screen where you select the position you want it to show up.
Installation:
Download module.
Go to the PrestaShop admin panel.
Access the "Modules" section.
Click the "Add a new module" link.
Select the module's ZIP file and click "Upload".
Find the module from the modules list, press install and configure it.

- PrestaShop 1.4 or higher
