Character and Word Counter is a character count and a word count tool. The cursor will simply have to be placed into the blank text box and after clicking it, you may start typing. The number of characters and words that are typed into the box will be automatically counted and displayed as "Number of chars" and "Number of words." Text from a document that has already been typed can also be copied and pasted into the text box and letter count and word count for that piece of writing will displayed. It is often important to be aware of the number of characters and/or words in a document. For instance, if a maximum or minimum amount of words need to be written by an author for an article or essay, Character and Word Count Tool can prove to be helpful. By using this tool, the author will be able to determine whether or not the written text meets the desired character count and/or word count requirements. Additionally, "Number of spaces" present between the words pasted or typed into the text box will also be displayed, as well as the "Total characters count," which is basically the character count with spaces included. This way, you will be able to know both the character count with spaces and the character count without spaces. This will help you meet the desired character requirement more accurately. Character and Word Counter also comes with two tabs at the top, namely "File" and "Document." After clicking "File" you can conveniently shut the tool down by clicking "Quit." Under the "Document" tab you will find the options to "Export Txt File" and "Import Txt File." This means that you can export text typed into the tool's text box in the form of a .txt file, or you can import text that has been typed and saved in a .txt file.
