LeapJS

LeapJS is the official JavaScript SDK for Leap Motion products.

These are input devices which use specifically designed sensors to translate a person's hand and finger gestures into input commands.

LeapJS allows developers to acquire these input commands from a Leap Motion device and use them via JavaScript code to setup various controls and custom behavior on Web pages and JS-capable desktop applications.

This library was coded in such a way that it can be extended at any time via plugins, plugins which can cover various features of any new Leap Motion device.

Some of the available LeapJS plugins can allow you to record various interactions and have them play back, work with Virtual Reality mediums, persist data between frames, get on screen positions, instantly drop hands into any Three.js scene, and many other more.

All plugins are hosted in one GitHub repository, allowing you to easily get at them any time you want. Additionally, Leap Motion also provides a reliable CDN that allows developers to access the latest version of LeapJS, as well as archived versions.

LeapJS has been used to create Leapstrap, a framework that allows Web pages to be controlled with your hands and fingers from afar.

• FrameEnd Looping now begins even before (or without) controller connection
