Apache Chemistry CMIS for Java adds support for the CMIS standard in Java.

This standard was created to allow CMSs to talk to each other and to exchange data when needed.

This set of Java libraries is made up of two parts, a client API and a server framework.

The supported client API provide support for:
- Alfresco
- Apache ManifoldCF
- Apache Struts
- CMIS connectivity for SAP Applications
- CMIS Explorer for Adobe AIR
- CMIS Workbench
- Confluence
- Liferay
- Spring Framework


The server fraework supports:
- Alfresco

- SAP HANA Cloud Document Service

What is new in this release:
