ZABBIX is an open source and web-based software project that provides users with monitoring, alerting and visualization solutions for network servers/devices and IT resources. It can be installed and configured without any hassle and in a shortest time as possible.

Easy to use web-based interface

As mentioned, this is a web-based application, which means that in order to access it you’ll need a modern web browser, such as Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, Internet Explorer or Opera.

The software installs as a server instance on any machine, which means that you can access it by entering the address of the respective server and the path where ZABBIX is installed on a web browser.

From there, you’ll have instant access to the dashboard, triggers, events, graphs, screens, maps, IT services, inventory, reports, general overview, web and latest data.

Under the hood, supported OSes and availability

The application provides server software for Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, FreeBSD, OpenBSD and Mac OS X, as well as client software for Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, AIX, FreeBSD, OpenBSD, OS X, Tru64/OSF1, Windows NT4.0, Windows 2000, Windows 2003, Windows XP and Windows Vista operating systems.
