VirtueMart will help any administrator convert his Joomla site into a fully-blown online store.

The module has been around for quite a while now, and has contributed in improving Joomla's image amongst developers by providing a commercial-grade ecommerce toolkit, yet under an open source license.

VirtueMart is installed like any regular Joomla component, yet after the installation, a custom store dashboard is added to the Joomla system where users can manage their products, orders, invoices, clients, and so on.

Lots of ecommerce-related features are included and supported by VirtueMart by default, securing developers, webmasters, store owners, and customers they can trust Joomla to run as good as any dedicated eGoods platform like Magento or Prestashop.

Installation:

Go to the Joomla admin section.
Select "Extensions" -> "Install/Uninstall/Extensions Manager".
Upload the package's ZIP archive file and press "Upload & Install".
