Ark Editor

Ark Editor continues the development process started with the JCK Editor plugin series.

But instead of replacing the classic Joomla text editor with an improved CKEditor variant, Ark Editor works completely different and only from the site's frontend.

This component lets Joomla admins and site editors easily click the text of a section they'd want to edit and automatically enter an inline, in-page editing mode, with a formatting toolbar shown next to the text's container.

This way users can edit the text right where it stands without wasting time by visiting the site's backend.

Users can make the changes they want and once done they can save the text and move on to another section.

Integrated with Ark Editor is a content versioning system, something similar to WordPress' revisions feature that lets editor go back in time and choose a previously saved version of the article's text.
