tap.mootools is a lightweight MooTools class that easily translates mouse clicks to tap events with the help of a custom "tap" event handler.
This allows applications and websites to work the same way on both mediums, translating between clicks to taps, and triggering the same actions on all devices (PC, tablet, smartphones).
The purpose of this class is to handle tap events much easier for mobile applications, without having to alter classic click events to handle them.
The click-to-tap conversion is very well suited for cross-platform support, but it is an optional feature which can be turned off if not needed.
A demo and usage instructions are included with the tap.mootools download package.
This same plugin is also available in a version for usage with the jQuery framework.
