Restive.JS uses a basic device detection system and an orientation manager to let the developer have full control over how his website is rendered and looks on various devices and resolutions.
Restive is easy to use and unlike CSS 3 media queries that force developers to go in many places on the same CSS file to make small edits, this plugin uses a single point of markup for making all the changes for all the responsive breakpoints.
This lets developers make all the edits in one place, instead of scrolling up and down the CSS file for making small tweaks.
Since Restive supports both pixel and platform-based breakpoints, it not only supports RWD (Responsive Web Design) principles, but AWD (Adaptive Web Design) principles as well, adapting to each of the platform it's being used on, not only to the screen width.
