Fedora MATE Compiz Live is an open source operating system, a special edition of the Fedora Linux distribution built around the traditional MATE desktop environment and using the Compiz-Fusion software for eye-candy desktop effects. It has been designed from the ground up to offer a classic desktop experience to nostalgic Linux users.
Availability, boot options and supported platforms
The distribution is available for download as two Live DVD ISO images, supporting both 64-bit (x86_64) and 32-bit (x86) hardware platforms. They can be deployed to USB flash drives of 1GB or higher capacity, as well as burned on blank DVD discs.
