MovieThumbs

MovieThumbs is an open source script, a patch for the KDE desktop environment, to generate thumbnails for video, using movie posters fetched from the tmdb.org (The Movie DataBase) website.

MovieThumbs is designed in such a way that it works with all KDE file managers, including Dolphin and the folder widget for Plasma. An Internet connection is required for fetching the movie posters.
