KDE4 Panel Configurator is a new tool that allows you to change the color of Plasma panel (panel in KDE4). Instructions how to install in readme files inside of archives. And don't forget to relogin after setting a new color.
To build use:
cd < path_to_app >
cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX= < here_you_must_write_your_KDE_installation_directory,_for example_/usr/lib/kde4_etc. >
make
sudo make install
After installing copy "default" plasma theme from < kde_installation_dir >/share/kde4/apps/desktoptheme to < kde_home_dir(e.g. /home/user/.kde4/) >/share/apps/desktoptheme and rename it in "kpc". Now you must set it as your current theme, by special tool, or by editing < kde_home_dir >/share/config/plasmarc: change "theme=default" string to "theme=kpc".
