Popups shade, the rest fades.
BeDropped also provides hackish attempt to animate window shading.
Notes:
- Shading is done by scaling. No prob on OpenGL, but you need good scaling support on XRender (for nvidia try -a "InitialPixmapPlacement=2", makes pixmap allocation slow.
- The window shade animation is not really great, but atm. i don\'t see a better solution
- DISABLE THE DEFAULT FADE PLUGIN!
Fading + Moving = Flicker.
This plugin ships it\'s own to fade everything that\'s not moved around.
- I also recommand to not use the other "minimize", "magiclamp", "scale in", etc. FX (unless you opt. the regarding animation out here) - or just check what works together.
What is new in this release:
- lower bump
- don't bump when auto-activating from a modal transient
- ignore "slidingpopup" clients
What is new in version 0.5:
- unlocks the different effects (you could eg. use BeDropped to substitute "scale in" & "fade in") - this was actually buggy in the last release (you could only have all or none ;-)
- adds optional bumping on window activation
What is new in version 0.4:
- PERFORMANCE: occasionally the plugin kept "zombie" windows dureing the KDE startup and thus kwin compositing in unoptimized mode. this is fixed.
- Smarter (2D) popup menu un/shading - ie. submenus drop out of the proper corner
What is new in version 0.3:
- kicked former optional scaling
- added optional fading instead
- added optional post scaling for showing windows
Requirements:
- KDE Plasma
