Usually, the drill is to prevent any kind of duplicate content from appearing on a site. But jquery.repeat isn't for live websites, being a plugin usually used in a website's mock-up and testing phase.
The developer simply needs to tell the plugin what DOM element to select and how many times to repeat it.
jquery.repeat can be used multiple times on the same page, and can generate large amounts of content with the purpose of filling up a page with basic content and help the developer either prototype or test the layout of a page.
Besides just repeating existing content a number of times, jquery.repeat can also take another page element and clone it inside a specified container as well.
