jQuery Boilerplate

jQuery Boilerplate was started by Zone Rocha and expanded with the help of Addy Osmani, two well-known names in the world of JavaScript development.

This tool provides a base for jQuery plugin developers, a standards-compliant template on which to add their plugin's code.

It includes industry recommended practices, and closely follows OOP principles.

As for some technical details, jQuery Boilerplate implements public and private methods, as well as public and private properties.

It also comes with a Yeoman-powered CLI tool for quickly generating basic plugin setups, along with in-depth documentation.
