jq.entry

jq.entry is a jQuery plugin that can watch the mouse cursor and detect the direction from which it enters certain elements.

Coupled with the callback functions it comes equipped with for mouse enter and mouse leave events, the plugin can be used to trigger custom JS functions for specific hover directions.

jq.entry should work on all browsers and also comes with the option to reverse the detected directions.

In practice, the plugin can be used for image galleries, card-based layouts, grid displays, and other applications where boxes are used for printing out content.
