jPut

jPut can be used whenever your want to dynamically control the content displayed on a Web page, but don't want to use a server-side programming language to do so.

This small jQuery plugin lets you setup page layouts using a special syntax, mixing HTML code, static content, and various predefined placeholders for the dynamic content.

When the page is loaded, the jPut plugin is executed and the placeholders are replaced with actual content, retrieved via AJAX from local or remote JSON files.

The plugin can work with data stored in JSON or the JSONP formats.
