Decookie is a small and simple cookie manager for Internet Explorer 5.0 or above. Decookie displays a button on the Internet Explorer toolbar which you can click to view cookies, delete cookies or select cookies that you want to keep. Decookie can regularly delete cookies that you have not selected to keep. As you probably already know, cookies are small pieces of information about you that websites can store on your computer while you are surfing. Most of the cookies are useful to these websites, but relatively few cookies are useful to you. Some cookies intrude on your privacy and let websites track your actions. The good thing about Decookie is that it is very easy to use and does not require any user intervention to keep your computer cookie free. Decookie also lets you inspect your cookies to the fullest detail if you so desire. Decookie does not consume system resources by running in the background as you surf. Decookie combines well with firewalls and pop-up killers. During the evaluation period, Decookie can only remember up to three cookies that you want to keep.
