QE - Quick Euphoria Editor

QE Editor is for DOS operating systems (works well on Windows XP). It supports Euphoria versions 3.1.1 and 4.0.x. It includes editable languages database that allows the user to create personal code pages, characters and bi-directional keyboard layouts (including Arabic and Hebrew); editable syntax coloring database, user menu, and more. You may use this free editor, at your own risk, to develop applications in Euphoria for DOS and Windows, or to import, export and edit large text files. You might find it useful for programming in other languages as well.

What is new in this release:

• (a) "File"->"Open Temporary" added. A temporary file is useful for many quick calculations and tests while programming.
• (b) "Edit"->"U-Dec/Hex/Bin" (Ctrl+N), and "Edit"->"S-Dec/Hex/Bin" (Ctrl+B) added. Both for converting a 32-bit integer's base between Decimal (base 10)/ Hexadecimal (base 16)/ Binary (base 2). "U..." is for unsigned conversion, and "S..." is for signed conversion. Signed conversion is using two's complement format, so hexadecimal 0xFFFFFFFF equal to decimal -1 (not 4294967295). • (c) Small bug fixed: "Search"->"Directory" and "Utility"->"User Menu"-> "Edit QE.MNU" will not open files for read-only or in binary mode; only in text mode and for editing.
• (d) Small change in file QE.KBD: US-international keyboard could not use the dead keys for DIAERESIS and ACUTE accents (since they are inserted with Shift+Shift dead key by them self); So instead, I used '<' and '>' as dead keys for these two accents.
• (e) As usual: some additions, here and there, to the ReadMe file (QE.DOC).
• Note: since these are small additions, I didn't spend too much time for testing the whole editor again. In case something went wrong since previous version (2.3.3) - please send a bug report and I'll try to fix it.
