OpenCobol IDE is an open source and simple IDE (Integrated Development Environment) specially designed for Cobol and based on OpenCobol (cobc).
OpenCobol IDE (cobcide) is a cross-platform application written in Python with PCEF and PySide. It supports both Linux and Windows operating systems.
What is new in this release:
- update to pyQode 1.0 (the new version of PCEF): this bring many improvements to the editor widget
- can be used with python 2.7 and/or python 3.3
- new interactive console for program output
- new and better errors list widget (now sortable)
- better integration with the native desktop of most GNU/Linux distributions (using PyQt4 instead of PySide)
- better look and feel
