Maqme Icon (pronounced "make me icon") is cool software that helps you create an set of icons in sizes from 16x16 to 32x32 in a few clicks. The program can load image files such as JPG and BMP and create an icon file that includes smooth transparency for Windows. It can also give you guide on how to create a favicon which will display besides the URL on the browser. You can pick specific graphic files for a specific size, or load one general file for all sizes. The program includes a preview of all the sizes your icon can be displayed at so that you can see the end result without fiddling with folder settings after you're done.
