dope wraps the HTML 5 dataset API, allowing programmers to work with dynamic 'data-' attributes in Web pages and a wide variety of platforms and devices.
dope can retrieve current 'data-' attributes, create new ones, remove selected attributes, and even query for the 'data-' attribute's content.
The 'dope' library works with client-side (browsers, vanilla JS, jQuery or Ender) and server-side (Node.js) environments.
What is new in this release:
- Removed undocumented 2nd param from dope.parse().
What is new in version 2.1.0:
- Added dope.parseJSON() method for jQuery-compatible JSON-parsing syntax.
- Removed dope.bridge() in favor of integration by other means, e.g. dj.bridge() or ender.ender() or jQuery.extend().
Requirements:
- JavaScript enabled on client side
- HTML 5 enabled browser
- Node.js for server-side environments
