Vafpress Framework is not a theme framework, since it does not include any type of functions for building WordPress themes, but merely an options and settings controller for WP themes.
This means Vafpress Framework can be used to add an options panel for your existing WordPress themes.
Some special placeholder code needs to be added to the WordPress theme, but once the developer does this, then he can tie in various theme options and features to a simple, centralized settings panel in the WordPress backend.
Via this panel webmasters can easily customize various theme options, without having to mess with the code, or go to 2-3-4 special pages in the WP backend.
Besides the framework's code which can easily be added to any theme, a theme boilerplate and special WP plugin can also be downloaded.
What is new in this release:
- Added missing static modifiers in WPAlchemy.
- Minified resources.
Requirements:
- WordPress
