jFormslider is a jQuery plugin that can help webmasters create wizard forms or step guides.
It works by taking a large form and allowing the developer to split it into smaller sections.
Each section is presented to the user one at a time, animated into view using a vertical or horizontal sliding motion.
There are controls for going to the next, previous, first, and last form step, along with lots of plugin parameters to customize other form details.
jFormslider also lets developers validate each form step at a time, showing an error when the user tries to change the form step without entering content in the form fields, or when he entered something wrong.
This avoids situations where the user tries to submit the form from the last section and there's a data validation error on the first step which he won't see.
A few demos and installation instructions are included with the jFormslider package.
Requirements:
- JavaScript enabled on client side
- jQuery 1.8.3 or higher
