FlashGot is an open source add-on, compatible with several Mozilla products, such as Thunderbird, Firefox and SeaMonkey, that transforms any supported download manager application (see below a list) into a download manager for Mozilla products.
Long story short, FlashGot allows users to manage multiple downloads (videos, pictures, music, programs, etc.) in Thunderbird, Firefox, and SeaMonkey applications.
The add-on is also known as FlashGot Mass Downloader among connoisseurs, and it supports numerous download utilities like Downloader 4 X, Aria, cURL, Axel Download Accelerator, FatRat, KDE KGet, GNOME Gwget, JDownloader, SteadyFlow, wxDFast, and Uget.
Being a Mozilla add-on, FlashGot is platform-independent, supporting Linux, Mac OS X, and Windows operating systems.
