TransTools

TransTools is a collection of translation tools for Microsoft Word / Excel / PowerPoint / Visio and Autodesk AutoCAD. With its help, you will be able to speed up translation of Visio, AutoCAD and Excel files, search in Excel glossaries, format Word / Excel / PowerPoint documents before and after translation, make sure translation is fully completed, localize numbers, clean up badly formatted documents to make them easier to translate and to eliminate excessive tags in CAT software, check the quality of documents or worksheets, automate some CAT-related actions, maintain To-Do lists and do much more.

What is new in this release:

• Tag Cleaner (TransTools for PowerPoint) - new tool which re-formats your PowerPoint presentations in order to minimize tags displayed when you import the presentation into your CAT tool.
• Unbreaker (TransTools for PowerPoint) - new tool for finding incorrect breaks in PowerPoint presentations and quickly removing them to prevent segmentation issues in CAT tools and improve the formatting of the presentation.
• Change Language tool (TransTools for PowerPoint) - new tool which makes it easy to apply a specific spellchecking language to a presentation. This may be necessary if your presentation uses incorrect spellchecking languages and you want to check spelling or prevent red squiggly underlines in text marked with a wrong language.
• A number of bug fixes in TransTools for Word.

What is new in version 3.8.1:

• Spellcheck Assistant - new tool to extend Word's built-in spellchecking functionality.
• Tag Cleaner incorporates several new features to allow you to remove more tags from documents converted from scans and PDFs.
• Unbreaker contains several improvements and a new option for more efficient removal of incorrect paragraph and line breaks.
• Find & Replace Excessive Spaces has new options for removal of spaces before and after certain punctuation.
• Quotation Magic can now replace curly (directional) quotation marks and apostrophes with straight quotation marks / apostrophes.
• Numerous other improvements in TransTools for Word, TransTools for Excel and TransTools for AutoCAD.

What is new in version 3.6.1:

• Added Correctomatic tool (TransTools for Word), a proofreader's Swiss Army knife for checking words and phrases in documents and correcting them.
• Updated Unbreaker, Multiple Replace and Document Cleaner tools (TransTools for Word).

What is new in version 3.4:

Multiple Replace tool, a tool for making several simultaneous replacements in a Word document, was completely redesigned. The updated tool makes it easier to add new replacement list entries or modify existing ones, and replacement lists can be saved for later use or loaded when needed.
