CodeTrawler is a skip code analyser. It allows you to search any text using any language that you have installed for encoded messages. Skip codes are very simple codes that place coded characters by skipping so many characters in the main text.
Main features:
prepare text by removing unwanted characters such as spaces, punctuation etc
specify the maximum skip code and the nature of the messages you will search for
specify a phrase to search for
graphical display of the search process, any occurrence of the phrase and any associated messages
integrated help and scientific notes
Known Issues: CodeTrawler relies on the Apple Spellchecker, which is flawed; for instance the British English version recognises a string of v's of any length as a valid word.

- Universal binary
- leopard compatible
- ability to manually highlight characters
