What is new in this release:
- This version adds support for AMD vector extensions.
- In hpcrun, there is an API for the application to start and stop sampling, an I/O sample source to count the number of bytes read and written, and a Global Arrays sample source.
- A problem with GNU binutils on 64-bit PowerPC that caused performance data to be misattributed because function "D" symbols were overlooked has been fixed.
- In hpctraceviewer, support has been added for filtering out threads and processes that are not of interest.
- There are other enhancements and bugfixes.
