Google Drive CMS is an open source JavaScript library that can fetch the content of a Google Drive spreadsheet, break it into smaller pieces and use it inside an application, either for processing operations or for simply dumping content on a page.
This library allows developers to use Google Drive as a key-value store database, more precisely as an off-site data storage system (since SQL queries can't be run on it).
The Google Drive CMS toolkit can be used together with various static site generators, CMSs, or blogs, allowing developers to automatically pull in content from remote spreadsheets without having to use a backend for managing the text.
This also means developers can tell a client to edit a spreadsheet in Google Drive and "magically" update their site as well.
