Lucre allows developers to deploy a fully-functional payment form on their websites.
The form works by letting users enter their email account (associated with a Stripe account) and the sum of money they want to pay.
Lucre will then deduct the funds from that person's Stripe account and move it to the site owner's profile.
This small widget can be easily deployed on any Ruby-capable server or Heroku account and can be used for any kind of payment or donation gathering campaigns.
The form also features a minimal interface, so it can easily be integrated with any site design you may be have running without having to strip-down useless CSS along the way.
A tool similar to Lucre, but coded in PHP is Tyler Longren's MoneyCollector script.
