MagicSpeller is a collection of a REALbasic objects for use within the REALbasic development environment. Using MagicSpeller, a developer can easily add a full-featured spell checker into their project in just a few minutes. MagicSpeller allows you to use a dialog-based spell check system as well as an inline system that checks spelling as you type. The system is customizable and cross-platform; running on both Macintosh and Windows builds of REALbasic projects. At this time, MagicSpeller contains only English language dictionaries.
What is new in this release:
Version 1.6.5:
- fix - Addressed an issue where MagicSpeller would throw an exception if the MagicSpeller contextual menu menutag contained a data type other than a string.
- new - Added an new public property 'gIgnoreHyphen'. When this property is set to 'true', MagicSpeller will treat hyphenated words as two separate words.
- new - MagicSpeller no longer counts Linux line breaks as connected to adjacent words; and therefore no longer marks them as misspelled (not completely tested).
