Tellmatic

Tellmatic project is a tool to manage and create newsletters for personalized mailing or mass mailing. Addresses and newsletters are stored in groups to handle different user groups and thousands of addressses at a time.

SMTP is used for sending the newsletter to your subscribers to make sure you get all error and bounce messages. Bounces can be handled automagically via a small bounce-management module with POP3 access. It also has a small form-editor and statistics. You can import and export your addresses in CSV format.

What is new in this release:

• New features: a link manager; view nl online (personalized); find and remove duplicates; and much more.
• Many bugfixes and optimizations.
• Upgrading is highly recommended.

What is new in version 1.0.8.6:

• Newsletter: added Title, SubTitle and Summary. These new fields are meant to show a quick summary of the newsletters on your website.
• Newsletter: save newsletter as a template to create new newsletters from it (e.g different predefined layouts etc).
• Newsletter: uploaded image can be resized and watermarked.

• This release contains some bugfixes.
• It adds a plain text part for newsletters.
• Users who have previously installed or updated to 1.0.8.0 should update as soon as possible.

What is new in version 1.0.8.0:

• Support was added for multiple mail servers using SMTP (for delivery) and POP3/IMAP (for bounce mamagement).
• A blacklisting feature was added, allowing you to blacklist by email address, domain, or regular expression.
• The subject and recipients' names in a mailing may be personalized.
• Small bugfixes and Web interface enhancements were made.
