Click Counter Script works by using a PHP redirection script to see how many times users click on certain links.
Instead of clicking a link and loading the link's content directly, Click Counter Script sends the redirection operation through a special PHP tracker that records the amount of times a user has clicked that link inside a local text file.
This text file acts as a counter, recording the link target and the amount of hits it gets.
Because it's a text file, webmasters can easily reset stats or alter their data.
Click Counter Script works with any type of URL, regardless of destination. This means it can be used for normal Web pages, images, downloadable files, banners, referral links, etc..
