WSN InstaChat is more of an experiment than an actual chat room, being focused more on group-chatting than individual private messaging.
The system works in real-time, listing for new messages from connected users, taking the user's input, writing it into a text file on the server, and then broadcasting the message to all connected users.
As long as the user is connected, there's a text file with his messages on the server, and that's how WSN InstaChat can also tell how many users are online as well.
If users join or leave the chat, they are also added and removed in real-time from the chat Web page as well.
The CKEditor rich text editor is used to format the user's messages.
Installation:
Download, unpack and upload it to a Web server.
Access the application.
Set up a username and start chatting with everybody in the room.
