This package contains the files needed for installing the Dvico TVIX HD M-5100SH Media Player Firmware driver. If it has been installed, updating (overwrite-installing) may fix problems, add new functions, or expand existing ones. Even though other OSes might be compatible as well, we do not recommend applying this release on platforms other than the ones specified.
Changes:
- Fixed some of folders and files are not shown.
- Fixed DTV tuner detection and scan problem.
- Fixed system hang after playing the last file of the folder.
- Fixed pictures are not played when played through playlist.
- Fixed minor UI bug
Known issues
- FTP may stop when upload/download.
- DTS decoding is not supported. Only pass-through works.
- Some JPEG files are not shown correctly.
How to upgrade firmware:
- Press and hold the MENU button on the top panel and turn on the TViX by using power button
- The VFD will show the seeking FW, such as SEEK FW. Release menu button.
- If you can see 'PRESSOK' text on the VFD, press up->down->left->right button on the main unit.
- 'PRESSOK' text will be displayed again. Press OK/PLAY button on the control panel to start upgrading.
