Remarkable can be used to add Markdown support for your text areas, allowing users to utilize this non-standard markup language to stylize their text in a much easier manner compared to the complex HTML syntax.
This library reads Markdown text and embeds it in Web pages as HTML code.
The library supports almost all Markdown tags and variants, even the newer CommonMark implementation.
There's support for adding syntax highlighting to code blocks, properly handling line breaks, autoconverting URL-like text to links and a full-on typographic package.
Remarkable works with client-side (browsers) and server-side (Node.js) environments alike.
A demo is included with the download package.
