Chess 2020

Chess 2020 is a chess classic in 4K Ultra HD graphics. Designed for Windows desktops, laptops, and tablets. It offers 4 difficulty levels and provides straightforward, comfortable play. Moves are recorded in a browser-like history. Feel free to go back if you make a mistake. Don't have the time to finish your game now? Just close the application and reopen it later to continue the game exactly where you left off. The development of each game is assessed in the Evaluation panel - positive values indicate White's advantage, negative values mean Black's advantage. The application animates moves, plays sound effects, and highlights the last move. It also shows move options for the piece you pick when making a move. There are multiple styles of pieces to choose from. Taken pieces are also optionally displayed. Complete help and game rules are provided.

• AI optimizations, including better time management in games with a time limit.
• GUI optimizations. Improved text legibility. The keyboard shortcut for 'Advise move' has been changed from Ctrl+A to Ctrl+D in order not to interfere with the 'Select all' command.
• Improved PGN support. AI settings such as the selected engine and level are now imprinted into files generated by Chess 2020.
• Improved chess clock. It starts after the first move of White and it automatically stops when viewing move history.
• Fixed file open/save functionality that has been broken on some Windows 10 machines since Microsoft update 1703.
