What is ThinkUp?
ThinkUp is a free and open source web-based application that captures all your activity in social networks, making it easy to search, analyze, organize and publish items. It includes support for some of the best social networking services, including Twitter, Facebook and Google+. It is dubbed “Analytics for humans.”Installing Bitnami ThinkUp Stack
The native and cross-platform graphical installers provided by Bitnami are built using the BitRock InstallBuilder tool, which makes installing your favorite web apps a breeze. To install ThinkUp on your desktop computer or laptop, download the package that corresponds to your computer’s hardware architecture (32-bit or 64-bit), run it and follow the instructions displayed on the screen.Run ThinkUp on the cloud
Besides installing ThinkUp on your personal computer, you can also run it on the cloud using the pre-built cloud images offered by Bitnami for the Amazon EC2 and Windows Azure cloud hosting platforms. In addition, you can also use ThinkUp in a virtual machine, as Bitnami provides virtual machine images compatible with VMware ESX, ESXi and Oracle VirtualBox, based on the latest version of Ubuntu Linux. The Bitnami ThinkUp Module
Besides the Bitnami ThinkUp Stack product reviewed here, Bitnami also offers a small module package that helps you to install only the ThinkUp application on top of an existing Bitnami LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP) server, without having to worry about a web server or database engine.
