Bitnami SuiteCRM Module is a multiplatform and freely distributed software project that has been designed from the ground up to allow you to deploy the SuiteCRM web-based application top of a Bitnami LAMP Stack on GNU/Linux, Bitnami WAMP Stack on Windows and Bitnami MAMP Stack on Mac OS X.
What is SuiteCRM?
SuiteCRM is an open source, enterprise-grade and totally free web-based CRM (Customer Relationship Management) application, a clone of the well-known SugarCRM customer relationship management (CRM) system.
Installing Bitnami SuiteCRM Module
Bitnami SuiteCRM Module is distributed only as native installers, which have been built using BitRock’s cross-platform installer tool and designed to work on both 32-bit and 64-bit (recommended) computers.
To add the SuiteCRM application to your Bitnami LAMP/MAMP/WAMP Stack installation, you will have to download the package that corresponds to your computer’s hardware architecture, run it and follow the on-screen instructions.
Run SuiteCRM in the cloud
In addition to installing SuiteCRM on your personal computer, on top of an existing Bitnami LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP), WAMP (Windows, Apache, MySQL and PHP) or MAMP (Mac, Apache, MySQL and PHP) stack, you can deploy it in the cloud using Bitnami’s pre-build cloud images for the Amazon EC2 and Windows Azure cloud hosting providers.
Virtualize SuiteCRM or use the Docker container
It is also possible to virtualize the SuiteCRM application on the Oracle VirtualBox and VMware ESX/ESXi virtualization software, thanks to Bitnami’s virtual appliance based on the latest LTS (Long Term Support) release of the world’s most popular free operating system, Ubuntu Linux. A SuiteCRM Docker container will also be available for download for free on the project’s website.
