pyReScene

pyReScene is an open source implementation of the ReScene .NET software, written in the Python programming language, which allows users to backup and restore the metadata from "scene" released RAR files.

pyReScene features support for WMV and MP4 samples, and it can create SRR files of your releases.

Being written in Python, pyReScene is a cross-platform tool that supports both Linux and Windows operating systems.

• FLAC and MP3 support has been added: backing up tags to SRS files.
