Rocks'n'Diamonds is a free and cross-platform arcade game that features official builds for the Linux, DOS, Microsoft Windows, and Mac OS X operating systems.

Rocks'n'Diamonds is designed in the tradition of  Boulder Dash for C 64,  Emerald Mine for Amiga,  Supaplex for Amiga/PC, and  Sokoban for PC.

The game features network multiplayer gameplay with support for up to four players, local multiplayer gameplay with support for up to 4 players, soft scrolling with 50 frames per second, support for joystick and keyboard, stereo sound effects and soundtrack, music modules and fullscreen support.

Rocks'n'Diamonds also contains some levels to play with the Boulder Dash, Sokoban and Emerald Mine games, as well as over 10.000 additional levels from the community.

What is new in this release:

  • This minor update adds volume controls for simple sounds, sound loops and music to the sound setup (which can be useful if your system does not have sound controls for individual applications or if you want to quiet down that annoying yam-yam noise in certain levels, while keeping music and other sounds at normal volume).

  • Adds configurable key shortcuts for combined snap and direction player actions that can be executed in one single game frame
