goblinhack is an open source and free command-line rogue-like game that features ASCII graphics, OpenGL support, SDL support, and smooth scrolling.

Being inspired by the NetHack game, goblinhack features a simple user interface that appears to be liked by kids and adults alike, and fires the imagination in today's world of over-rendered games.

Those of you who want to add more monsters, treasures, etc. to the game, you should look at the examples included in the project's GitHub web page, from where you can also download the latest source code.

What is new in this release:

  • Fire/cold/... proofing now percentage based
  • Differentiate between proofing negative damage monsters, like fire
