Extreme Tux Racer

Extreme Tux Racer is an open source racing game that uses the Tux penguin Linux mascot as its main character. The game is powered by SDL and OpenGL.

Extreme Tux Racer continues from where the Tux Racer game and its forks left off. It includes a new campaign, as well as a few bug fixes here and there, when compared with the aforementioned games.

Extreme Tux Racer is available in the default software repositories of various Linux distributions. It is a platform-independent application that also supports FreeBSD and Microsoft Windows operating systems.
