Unitecast is a user-friendly video recording/webcasting platform. It is typically employed to webcast/record video and integrated presentation sources. These sources include captions, PowerPoint slideshows, web content, images and presenters. Unitecast records content as "combined" MP4 (H.264 and AAC) files using a fail-safe (mission critical) recording protection mode.

Unitecast provides fully integrated PowerPoint slideshow capturing functionality. You can load, manipulate and capture PowerPoint presentations directly in Unitecast. Unitecast's media player player engine is based on open HTML5/Javascript standards.
What is new in this release:
Version 5.1 RC7: The ability to record/stream a combined session and simultaneously record a full "standalone" video. Separate data rates for live and recorded sessions (i.e., the ability to stream at one data rate while archiving the session at a higher data rate). Improved support for Blackmagic Design (Decklink) devices. CUDA support for Split Mode recordings. Support for switched full video or pip video playback modes during streaming/recording.
