A modular framework is a framework that uses modules to load and activate various features.

A decoupled framework is a framework which is composed of smaller modules that can work on their own.

TinyCore.js uses both of these principles to provide developers with a collection of stand-alone modules which they can use when building their JS-based Web applications.

Also built around the Asynchronous Module Definition principles, TinyCore.js can also be used in dynamic environments, loading modules only when their needed, all via non-blocking async calls.

The framework comes with cross-browser support and some basic modules included in the standard package, but its main advantage is its open architecture which lets any developer code his own modules whenever in need of new functionality.

Besides this, TinyCore.js also includes support for various unit testing frameworks and ships with an error handler and debug utility.

For more documentation, check the framework's README file.
