SoundsLike

SoundsLike is a set of 2 main functions used to generate phonetic keys or indexes. These phonetic or "sounds-like" keys can then be used in searches to match words and phrases with similar phonetic spellings. SoundsLike makes a powerful addition to KeyTools.

SoundsLike includes the following functions:

• Soundex
• Phon-X

SoundsLike is available for Omnis Classic and Omnis Studio running on Mac OS 9, Mac OS X and Windows 98 through XP.

What is new in this release:

Updated source code and a Mac OS X native extension. No changes were made to the phonetic index functions.
